The Journey to Hyderabad

This one of the first places we have visited in Telangana. Me and my wife visited this plan after our marriage. We went to the munnar as part of our honeymoon trip. We choose the hyderabad as part of my wife birthday celebration. 

I went to the Nagpur for the business meeting on Thursday and asked my wife to come to Hyderabad on Friday morning, So that I could also come from Nagpur to Hyderabad. I went to the Nagpur by flight, which was first time experience and was thrilling. After the meeting, I departed the Nagpur in the night and my wife departed the Bangalore by bus. My wife was new to the bangalore and booked a ticket in private bus, but the bus had mechanical issue hence it could not come on time and did not arrange the alternative bus as well, this was frustrating for sometime, after 2 hours, they arranged the alternate bus. 

The next day morning, we both reached to the common location and went to the hotel. We began our day with having breakfast and thought of visiting the Ramoji Film City by the public transport as we know Telugu and we thought we could manage but most of hyderabadis especially Auto drivers, Bus conductors speak in Hindi/Urdu to the tourist people. We somehow reached the Ramoji Film City. That was the day pass and enjoyed the overall experience of the City. This has been built beautifully and people can spend even two days here without boring. I liked this city very much. I captured the beautiful photo of butterfly in the park.

We had nice hyderabad biriyani,Ice creams,evening snacks etc. There was summer event for classical dance function organized in the evening and it was really fun.

We came to the hotel which is located in Banjara Hills, and have dinner in the night. The Food is really amazing in Hyderabad. I love the food in this city. The Food quantity is better than Bangalore hotels. They give higher portion , quality and taste wise, Hyderabad is better than bangalore always. 

The next day, the plan was to visit the places in Hyderabad. We first went to the Charimnar, then Golkonda hills , Qutb Shahi Tombs, and then NTR Gardens near Hussain Sagar. All these places are beautiful as the names. The Charminar should have maintained better, this is in old city hyderabad and congested to visit this place. Shopping in hyderabad is ok , some items are cheaper and some are expense than we think.

Golkonda Forts with Hyderabad City

Golkonda hills is you have to hike for 2KMs to the top, all you are going to experience the rocks and fort ruins along with the trail. We could not go to the top of hills as we had heavy baggage which we couldn't carry. NTR Gardens are beautiful and spent some decent time in the evening , There was also celebrations going on as part of Telangana Formation Day . We headed back to the hotel in the evening.

The next day morning, we booked flight from Hyderabad to Bangalore. We went to the Airport by Auto and spent some time in the afternoon in the airport and also had delicious sandwich at restaurant. We boarded the flight, that is first experience to my wife. It was great journey overall and worth visiting the hyderbad for 2-3 days vacation.

Date of Travel: 19th and 20th May 2014

Yash arranged the Tempo Traveller ( TT) but that TT was higher at the cost of travel. We all got inside and price of TT was gone beyond limits hence we decided to have other TT. We all were on the road midnight 12, waited for TT to come. We got TT then as usual we had some drinks during night journey.

We reached Bandipur home stay at around 7AM in the morning. We had breakfast and thought of going to OOTY as we had to spend some time. So we went to OOTY town, It was very chill and I liked the weather awesomeness's. We went Ooty lake for boating, had rafted there some time, went to shooting point which was landscape and beautiful. We took some beautiful shots for facebook.

We were back to our home stay , had some buzz, this trip is like buzzing trip as we had buzzing throughout the journey. We had fire camp and had drinks nicely. Next day early morning again, our dirty friends started having drinks. We went to Gopalaswamy betta nearby there. It was very good in nature. Road was pathetic , They should repair well .

After having Darshna of this temple, we came back to Bangalore on the second day.

Madikeri and Mallali Falls

Date of Travel: 19th and 20th Apr 2014

I am very passionate about Travel that too Madikeri is one of my favourite places. We all four left Bangalore at around 10PM on the 19^th towards Madikeri. On the way, we picked up some drinks and as well as other friend (Yash friend)  in Mandya. Through the night, was talking the stories of past childhood and schooling stories. Yash and Yash Friend were busy in talking all those stories, off course he was driving , he is only the one who drives.

We first decided to go to Mallalil Falls located in Somavarpet Taluk. On the way to this falls, we found beautiful landscape, got some shots here. Then headed to Falls. Surprisingly no people were there. In mid of the forest, we only five had to go there. My friends cursing me for recommending this place. There is water in the falls. We went in the wrong time probably. This falls is one of best falls in rainy season.

While coming back to Madikeri Town, Yash was driving, getting us into great trouble as he was tired of driving whole night and day as well. Took some rest and headed to Madikeri Town. We had lunch in the city of Kushal nagar, We came back again to Madikeri for the overnight stay. 

We planned for staying in Cottages in the coffee estate on the way to Madikeri from Kushal Nagar. We stayed there overnight it was beautiful and good to stay as well. I love madikeri pork. We took some drinks and I had pork and my other friends liked Neer dosa and chicken curry.

The Next day, we just came back from madikeri to mysore , had plan of celebrating the Giri Birthday. We did on the way to bangalore road from mysore in the resort.

Finally this is one of memorable trips I had been.

Meghamalai, Thekkady and Indukki Trip

Some other day, when I checking the blog where someone posted the journey about meghamalai hills. The pictures of the hills are mesmerizing and beautiful. So I decided to have fun filled trip with my friends. 

We left the Bangalore on 02 Aug 2013 night by TT with group of 13 people. We reached the Meghamalai hills morning at around 10AM after having breakfast at base of hills. The Road towards hills was not good at all. We were so tired to reach the hills as road condition was bad. Once we reached there, we felt it is worth of all our effort. Meghamail hills have so many dams around to see and it is long stretch with beautifully landscaped mountains and tea plantations.

After the meghamalai hills, we visited the small falls then reached Kumly for the stay overnight. It was home stay and had nice dinner while enjoying the rainy weather. Next Day early morning, we went to Thekkady lake for boating. Lake is beautiful as you see below..

After the boating, we had break fast at Kumly and then reached to Idukki Dam View point where we had enjoyed a lot under the rain. There so much greenary and beautiful dam and kind of new experience ever had. We departed this place to bangalore in the evening, we covered the some places and reached bangalore next day morning. it was long journey in fact we had. We did not have guide. All i have relied on the maps and checked into these places.

Madikeri & Siddapura

 

Date of Travel: 26 and 27th  Jan 2012

Well this journey wasn't actually a trip but went to our friend's marriage. But however, we made this journey as kind of journey. Sas has booked tickets for all of us. We went to Mejestic to get bus. Before the getting into bus, we had buzzed in the restaurant where it is just near by bus it is boarded. We were sitting back and of course enjoying journey.As bus was moving, we had a fund but unfortunately bus driver wasn't  good in driving as he made breaks many times which is unnecessary. Girls were sitting in front of our seats with their boy friends, we got jealous of course.

We boarded at madikeri by morning 7PM. Sas went to his GF to meet and to do personal discussions. Myself and Giri had morning walk at Madikeri Town. We had freshened up in the hotel at KSRTC Bus Stop. then we planned to trek to Mandalapatti and Abby falls. We asked people about this. Nobody was said perfectly about it and distance from Madikeri. As per my experience, Madikeri-Abby Falls-9KM, Madikeri-Mandalapatti-25KMs. What would i suggest is that people anybody would like visit these places should have their own vehicle. As we hadn't planned vehicle, we hired auto to reach abby falls for Paying of Rs.200. We went to Abby falls where it has had good adventure experience.

However, Before 3KMS from Abby falls, There will be curve towards Mandalapatti. So beware of this route. They charge INR1600 for Mandalaatti. We had nice fun @ Abby falls where we can not bath. While coming back to Madikeri from abby falls, we came by walk. many of girls were also walking so it was kind of nice walking but my friends didn't like road as it was too muddy and cursing me for walking for almost about 7KMs. We were  tired and got into Madikeri town where we had lunch (Non Veg).

We left the town to reach Siddapura where our friends wedding would be  there. We reached there by evening, it was okay but weather wasn't much interesting. Evening was good. we had dinner at the reception. we came back to lodge. friends did buzz. Next morning, we had freshened up. We attended wedding. It is christian wedding and am attending this christian wedding for first time. We had lunch and left Siddapura. What i felt about Siddapura was that this is kind of secular city

We reached to Periyapattana. From there, we took old ambassador to reach mysore city. we felt travelling some years back as it was ambassador. We reached Mysore by evening and came back to Bangalore at around 12PM as it our KSRTC bus took 5hrs to reach bangalore from Mysore. We cursed bus for this too late. 

However, this has been a good trip and enjoyed one.

Summary of Trip:

During Night

This was planned prior to one week when we were at my home. I went to my native on 21st Dec 2012 but jack repeatedly called me for this trip and he was one, who sponsored this trip. We loved it too. I came to bangalore on 22nd, on the night we  left city . we picked everyone and left by 9PM.ht  We planned of having drinks during midnight. As per plan, we bought drinks along with required items for the camp. we didn't have fire over there. It was just parting at place near to Jack Native place. We reached to the spot by 12 midnight. We had been there till 1AM. Then came back to jacks home and had slept off.

We woke up and had freshened up. We went to Malavalli Town where we purchased chicken as Its Jack to give chicken to "Adi Maramma God" which is located near shivanasamudra and on bank of Kaveri River.  We had break fast at town and left by 9AM. We reached temple by 10AM. Before doing poojas, we went to Kaveri River where we had bathed. We swam and enjoyed in water. It was chilling experience. Myself and Jack came to temple to offer chicken to God. After this offered, We took chicken to bank of river where other friends were busy with preparation of chicken sambar and rice as well. Giri is good at cooking chicken. Myself and Jack were busy with cleaning  chicken meat. but Eagles were attacking us for the meat, however we managed it.  He prepared sambar and chicken curry.

we were all so hungry as time was about 4PM in the afternoon. chicken and food was ready and we had it enough. we put back all items we took from jacks home. We started moving bangalore. we have seen dam path where we could cross with wetting our leg palms. water was just flowing on it very less. It was built across kaveri river. We started crossing the line. We went to half of dam but police(he was at opposite gate) was informing us that return back but we didn't listen to him. we went to gate but police didn't allow us. we begged him almost for 30 mins . however we managed to escape from them and reached to main road. we took car and started moving to bangalore.we came back to bangalore at 10PM in the night after having tea near Kanakapura . This was good experiencing journey.

Tadiyandmol Trek at Madikeri

Trip Route: Bangalore-Mysore-Virazpet-Kakkabbe-Tadiyandmol-Madikeri-Kushalanagar-Back Bangalore

Trip Date: 1st-2nd Dec 2012

Team: Ujjivan Employees, 17 People

Summary of Trip:

Well, this trip has planned for almost 15 days prior to execution. We had together of 17 guys, started our journey @ Koramangala, Bangalore on 1st  Dec 2012 at night at around 11PM. Everybody was picked up and started moving towards Mysore, Everybody was buzzing, dancing and Cheering off course. We reached to Virazpet at around 6AM in the next morning, we gotta some confusions over the route, Routes were very bad in the Virazoet dt. I would suggest not to travel the route towards Virazpet as it has pathetic roads in 2010. Take towards from madikeri town towards virazpet. We Reached to Tadiyandmol Base At 10AM after having break fast. Tadiyandmol is second tallest hill in Karnataka, India. you need to go to Aramane where you can start the trekking , No guide or permission is required. Only you need to go till Aramane(Palace) is important through forest curves of roads.

Everybody was busy in starting the trek. We kept moving towards hills, It was too hiky roads. you will get tired usually , it is easy-moderate path. After 3KMs, you will have to trek difficult -moderate trek path through hills. Hills were very beautiful. Everybody was so tried in hiking hills. for every 30Mts, everybody was was taking  rest and used to seat. however we manage to  top of hills in 4 hrs. Top of hills was looking awesome.  we moved back from top to base in 2 hrs. Then we moved back to Madikeri town where we had evening lunch and had a time pass @ Raja seat. We planned of doing night camp at one of friends house at Kushalanagar. We had drinks and food during the night camp. 

On the next morning , we bathed at Kaveri Nagar. We went to Goldan Temple and then moved to Dubare Forest where we did rafting. It was very nice fun and having swim at Kaveri River was kind of new experience over there. We swam and enjoyed a lot in water. We went to Kaveri Nisarga Dama where we had felt good in the evening but we didn't have time to spend much time there. We Started moving towards bangalore. On the way , we had evening lunch/dinner at Daba. Everybody was so tired and reached to Bangalore at around !2PM.However, this has memorable one.
